danielle a. nelson
dani is the creative force behind hgm. she credits her colour ninja grand master, mark “big guy” tauber, with all the weird things she can do with colour and design (it’s amazing the life skills one can pick up in a hardware store at 19) and designed her first websites on geocities and angelfire in the mid- to late- 90s (but please don’t hold that against her.) dani is also the voice of hot glue, so to speak, and is the person you’re most likely to get on the phone, on your voicemail, or on your audio file.

meredith lynn matthews
a published poet and former professional musician, writer, radio producer, news traffic reporter, insurance conveyancer, girl scout, prison librarian, and (most absurdly of all) document archivist, mer is the technical force behind hgm. she assembled her first computer from parts at age ten and has been hacking her way through the world ever since. when she’s not developing, designing, contemplating pdf compression ratios or guzzling coffee, she can be found composing and publishing experimental digital music over at braindouche.net. mer grew up under the flight path of the philly airport, which may explain her penchant for odd noises.
